Bright and light with comfortable seating on two levels and with decorated shelves of Greek preserves and olive oils, this lovely restaurant is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the most traditional style of Greek cuisine - the Mezédhes. To Elliniko has the warm welcoming atmosphere of a traditional ouzomezedopolion and is the perfect place to meet friends or work colleagues for a leisurely meal.

The best translation of Mezédhes is 'small tastes' and the traditional Greek Mezédhes - Mezé - is a wonderful selection of different vegetable, fish and meat dishes enjoyed over several hours-  accompanied by ouzo, wine or other drinks throughout! This is informal dining at its best and is the perfect way to enjoy good food and lively conversation with family or friends. The dishes served vary throughout the year to include seasonal vegetables and fish and each dish is beautifully enhanced by the use of fresh local herbs and spices.
The well stocked delicatessen cabinet in front of the main door hints at the wonderful array of tastes that can be enjoyed at To Elliniko. The best cooked and smoked meats and cheeses are brought from all over Greece and its islands and these include komos cheese from Naxos, Ladotyri from Mytileni (Lesvos, Fava from Thira (Santorini) and superb olive oil from Crete. There is the opportunity to buy any of these products to take home to enjoy.

The dishes in the Mezé at To Elliniko are from every corner of Greece including Macedonia, Metsovo and Volos. The feast begins with various salads and appetizers served with fresh crusty bread. There are a variety of vegetables dishes to enjoy - most of them grown locally - including zucchini, mushrooms and delicious onions stuffed with meat, pine nuts and cheese. Several of the speciality cured and smoked hams and cheeses on display in the delicatessen are served either grilled or pan-fried.  There is a wonderful array of fish dishes too -including whole sea bream cooked to perfection and served in brown paper, whilst the meat choice includes souvlaki, chops, chicken and some great tasting sausages! The Mezé progresses at the speed that you would like and never any faster and ends with chilled fresh fruit and coffee.
