Kayak in the crystal clear waters of Agia Napa on this guided tour. Explore the rocky coastline, discover sea caves, see the Lover's Bridge natural arch, and visit golden-sand beaches.

Highlights

  • Kayak with a guide along a rocky coast with crystal clear light blue waters
  • Kayak under picture perfect romantic Lovers' Bridge natural arch
  • Enter on a kayak upto two sea caves, one of which has two entrances

Description

We only use single kayaks, and the load on each should we under 100 kg. In this 3-hour trip we explore the Agia Napa Sea Caves (off limits between November and April). Ammos tou Kambouri beach is the start of the kayaking trip and the basic route goes west until Glyky Nero beach (and then back to Ammos tou Kambouri beach). The coastline in the area is rocky, with many formations, interrupted by two natural sandy beaches. The main attraction of the trip is the collection of Sea Caves just east of the beaches of Pantahou and Glyky Nero in Agia Napa. There are more than five sea caves, but most are either very narrow to enter or their height above sea level is limited. Usually we enter two of them. The experience is superb. We enter one of the caves from one entrance and leave from the other. The second cave that we enter has only a single (wider) entrance and the colours there are very beautiful, especially as it has a white sand bottom throughout and light blue water colours. Lovers' Bridge natural rocky arch is another big highlight of the trip. The kayaking trip ends back at Ammos tou Kambouri beach. We have a separate 3-hour trip that includes only the Cape Greko Sea Caves, and can thus take place throughout the year (as there are no restrictions of entrance in the cove in winter). In case of choppy waters, as an alternative we offer a kayaking trip around Green Bay and Fig Tree Bay, on the east coast. If the travellers do not want that option, or if the sea is choppy also on the east coast we cancel the trip.

Includes

Guide Equipment Possibly a free ride from the guide (guiding time starts when the guide meets the travelers)

Important Information

  • We only use single kayaks, and the load on each should we under 100 kg. You will probably get wet and should not bring along things that may be damaged by salt water The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each, and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them A maximum of four travelers kayaking at any time It should be noted that between November and April the Agia Napa sea caves are off limits as to not disturb the breeding seal population (we offer an alternative 3-hour guided kayaking trip to the Cape Greko Sea Caves cove). While the trip doesnot include transportation, in many cases we would be able to provide free rides in our company car from Ayia Napa or Protaras, and in some cases from Larnaca (not from the port) or the free part of Nicosia (please contact us to discuss this).
