Although today Ayia Napa is a popular holiday destination, in years gone by it was a small fishing village and fishing is still an intrinsic part of local life. Fish definitely is the ideal choice on the menu - especially as some of the fish served is caught by the Chef! Sea Bream is the top choice of Cypriots and it is a delicious fish, for the more adventurous there is swordfish too and for those who would like to sample the full selection, what better than a delicious Fish Mezé for two? There is plenty of seafood on the menu too including prawns, Kalamari (squid) and octopus - all cooked to perfection and just needing a squeeze of fresh lemon juice! Isaac's signature dish is its Seafood Lasagne which is absolutely packed with flavour.

Isaac Tavern definitely has a great reputation for its fish and a good sign is the number of local families that regularly enjoy meals there.

For those who prefer meat, there is a whole range of dishes cooked over the charcoal - including a variety of kebabs: chicken, pork, sheftalia and 'mixed'. There are delicious traditional dishes too including Kleftiko (lamb slowly cooked in red wine), Stifado - another tasty casserole made with beef - and Moussaka.

Cypriots love children and expect them to join in every family meal so there are dishes to tempt them on the menu too - including great home made chips! For extra fun there are 'Kids Cocktails' too.

Koulla would say that every day is a celebration and there are regularly live music evenings for everyone to enjoy.
