Nemo Submarine

If you are enjoying a wander around Ayia Napa harbour, you might just catch a glimpse of the very distinctive shape of the orange Nemo Submarine which offers passengers a unique way to explore the coastline... and life under the waves - all without getting toes wet and breaking the bank!

The Nemo arrived in Ayia Napa in 2011 and is the largest submarine of its kind in Europe. It is surprisingly spacious and comfortable as it has two lower climate controlled chambers with large windows that provide passengers with excellent underwater views! The submarine actually remains on the surface of the sea throughout so it also has a deck area for wonderful views of the coastline too.

The Nemo offers several different excursions every day and can also be chartered privately for corporate functions, family celebrations and all types of events including wedding parties. With a capacity for 160 guests, food and drinks can also be provided for private groups and the submarine is equipped with a superb sound system for CDs and flat screens for DVD presentations.

Every day the Nemo offers passengers a fun two hour trip that begins in Ayia Napa harbour and explores the beautiful Ayia Napa coast passing by all its famous beaches including Nissi Beach. Nemo moors at Pernera Beach where passengers can take the plunge in the clear cool waters and the family can enjoy the special fish feeding underwater show in the comfort of the viewing chambers.

For its all day excursion, the Nemo Submarine sails from Ayia Napa harbour along the south east coast line around Cape Greko to Fig Tree Bay. Passengers have the chance to relax with a drink whilst admiring the beautiful scenery from the upper deck or view the secret world under the waves from one of the viewing chambers. The tour includes a traditional Cypriot-style lunch and time for swimming and snorkelling - and don't worry about fins and masks etc - they can be borrowed onboard.

The island of Cyprus is well known for its beautiful sunsets and what better to enjoy them than aboard the Nemo? The Sunset Cruise departs at 6.30 p.m. and lasts three hours and drinks and snacks are available as well as great music is provided by the Nemo's DJ!
